Pros: + Can take anything the main game throw at you. Spark is a lightning projectile spell, when you cast a spell you spawn unpredictable sparks to move around in the near area until they expire. This set up cycles primarily through three different trap skills namely fire trap, ice trap and Shock Novas trap. Cons: - The clear is speed is mediocre. When you stop channeling you release a wave of fire in a destructive girthy area, igniting everything in its path and dealing up to 500% more damage. These spells do okay damage and you should be able to clear yellow maps if you pick a solid build. So for your build you'd want to proc the buff from smite and then rely primarily on static strike for damage.
Very strong spell with a lot of potential for investments. When scaled properly it can do good single target damage — though it lacks a lot in the clear speed aspect. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients DotA but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. The build also provides a lot of life regen whether you want it or not. Added a tiny passive major to Withering Presence which grants 8% improved maximum Energy Shield and +5% to Non-Ailment Chaos Damage as time passes Multiplier. Hard to decide if it's worth it to slow down a little and apply the debuff to take over a rare mob or just kill them. Ancestral Warchief — if you enjoy playing totem builds, Ancestral Warchief is the skill for you.
No problem killing any stun immune bosses. Also you can find guide for the here. By getting a lot of strength your character becomes incredibly tanky which is great for hardcore leagues. Vaal Haste, Vaal Grace, Vaal Clarity, Vaal Discipline, Vaal Impurity of Fire, Vaal Impurity of Lightning, Vaal Impurity of Ice, Vaal Molten Shell, Vaal Righteous Fire and Gluttony of Elements from the Blood of Corruption unique amulet are now all instant, with a very short cooldown. Arctic Breath — reworked in 3.
Blast Rain can do well as a primary skill too but it will lack clear speed. Fire Trap can effectively be played into end-game but it takes some investments and a +2 staff is preferred. A Spectre Summoner that also utilizes Zombies can smash any boss in PoE Shaper, Elder on a budget. Other stats to look for are of course % added as extra preferably lightning which you can stack on the off-hand weapon and from Wrath etc. I really want the estetic of melee over the damage I would prefer my summons doing most damage , and that build seems to lean towards that. It decimates pretty much everything on a tight budget.
Freezing Pulse — incredible cold skill, can be self cast or used in conjuction with totems. With god tier gear, these spells absolutely decimate everything and are able to clear any content in the game Uber Elder, Uber Shaper, Red maps… — Powerful. Consecrated Path — came out in the last PoE expansion, very solid melee skill choice. I personally loathe 1-click and 0-click builds I'm also using storm call which is beast combined with static strike I also have two passives going on and a holy relic I'll have to go in game to remember the names of the passives. Flame Surge — used to be popular for a bit, nowadays there are better option to Flame Surge. Not many builds these days are based around Fireball but if you want to try it out, you wont be disappointed.
Lightning Golem — they were used for single target damage before the buff to Ice Golems, if you want to do bossing focus on Ice Golems instead. It's a great game, and I really, really respect the business model they go by. No need to stack 10+ Abyss Jewels. A Barrage — most popular single target skill for bow builds and wanders. When I decided to start playing this I was ready to level as a Sunderboi but since lvl 19 I was playing the build basically the way you play it at endgame and again , it was really smooth. Inspirational now also causes your Banner skills to reserve no mana, recover 20% of planted Banner Stages any time you cast a banner whilst you've got a banner planted, and causes you and nearby allies to recover 0. You dont even need a 6 sockets but its highly recommended that your bow and your body armor have 6 sockets.
In a proper setup it shines but there are often better options. Mediocre isnt necessary a bad thing , it certainly clear just fine but in PoE world, zoomzoom clear is just good, anything below is bad. I used to play it. Of couse you would need sufficent defenses and the increase duration nodes on the tree. It is pretty solid though, can carry you to yellow tier maps with ease but after that Storm Call lacks a lot of single target damage to be viable. Frost Blades — incredible skill for mid-range melee characters. I went for what seemed to be the 'intended' combination of Smite and Herald of Purity, these seem to synergize very well with just a few gems and so invested into the Sentinels Herald.
